Time to get the kids in the kitchen! Join Sustainable Solano’s Local Food Program Manager, Stephanie Oelsligle Jordan, for a hands-on class that guides young chefs through some easy (and healthy!) seasonal snacks: Cinnamon & Spice Roasted Nuts, Homemade Hummus and a Winter Citrus Smoothie. Recipes and equipment lists will be sent at least 1 week prior to class, and again on Feb. 18 and 19. You can also find recipes here. While this class has minimal knife work, adult supervision and assistance is strongly recommended.
