Learn how to create swales, which are trenches that capture rainwater in the ground, divert roofwater to those swales, trench for laundry-to-landscape greywater, form keyhole garden beds and lay mulch to protect and build healthy soil . Volunteer tasks: digging a swale, moving & spreading woodchips
Day 2: Saturday, Feb 27-Planting, Greywater & Irrigation
Learn what plants help your garden thrive by working together as an ecosystem. Volunteer tasks: planting trees, plants, installing laundry-to-landscape greywater and drip irrigation.
