Bay Area and Sacramento-based online Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) training begins. Find out more here.

This training offers free or low-cost 20-hour certification workshops for QWEL Certification through various QWEL Professional Certifying Organizations.

The Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) program is an EPA WaterSense labeled professional certification in irrigation system audits. QWEL is a program of the Sonoma-Marin Saving Water Partnership, and is available through the many organizations that have adopted the program.

The Bay Area Regional QWEL Training (evening course starting at 7 pm Oct. 5 or morning course starting at 8 am Oct. 6) will be facilitated live over a Zoom webinar by a highly rated QWEL certified instructors, and is available to professionals conducting business or employed in any of the following counties: Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Sonoma, Marin and Napa.

The Virtual Training through the Regional Water Authority out of Sacramento will start at 12:30 pm Oct. 7.
