Oranges, lemons and mandarins, oh my! If you have an abundance of citrus fruit this winter, don’t miss this preservation class by Sarah Futterman-Devies of the University of CA Cooperative Extension Master Food Preservers! Sarah will demonstrate the water bath canning method for making orange (or mandarin) marmalade, along with various ways to preserve the zest and juice from these healthy fruits. The mission of UCCE Master Food Preservers is to teach research-based practices of safe home food preservation to the residents of Solano and Yolo counties.
