This year’s course will be led by permaculture expert, Lydia Neilsen, Spencer Nielsen, Penny Livingston, Redbird Willie and other special guests. Lydia Neilsen has been a very popular speaker at several Sustainable Solano events including the Sustainable Backyard program launch this past August.

The Four Seasons Permaculture Design Certification course (PDC) meets once-a-month and runs from October 2018 to September 2019. A unique feature of the program is that the permaculture curriculum in presented in a seasonal format so that you learn the practices as they relate to the rhythm of the seasons.
This course is now in its 15th year, is recognized by the Permaculture Institute of North America – PINA, and is the fruit of many years of experience teaching permaculture design to students from all around the world.
The rich, multilayered curriculum has evolved to support students in successfully implementing permaculture design principles in their work and lives. New this year is a concurrent Permaculture for Kids program! Discounts are offered for family members exploring these programs together, and scholarships are available.
