Join Sustainable Solano for an installation of an Urban Tree Forest!

Learn the benefits of urban tree planting and join us in reducing greenhouse gases through this hands-on community project! We will be planting carbon-sequestering trees, small plants, seeds and building healthy soil through adding organic matter, reducing water evaporation and creating conditions for thriving trees.

Cork Oak, Coastal Live Oak and Pines are just a few of the shading-providing trees that help mitigate climate change.

We are inviting individuals and people who want to work within their family/household bubbles on the site to come spend an hour working on this garden installation site. This is a great way to learn techniques and get ideas for your own yard! Only one ticket is required per family.

This public, hands-on installation workshop* series will create an opportunity to learn about urban forestry.

* wear a mask, bring gloves and water

**Sustainable Solano Staff will be disinfecting tools at the end of each hour shift and will provide hand sanitizer
