Join us as we begin planting understory plants and move mulch around that can help build healthy soil!

This day will focus on how you can transform any already established fruit tree into a fruit guild that is sure to be a mini-ecosystem for all types of beneficial insects!

This public event will feature the third home in this Resilient Neighborhood hub. To learn about the first two homes where projects were installed without public workshops, click here.

Participants to this event will also have the opportunity to take a look at the elements installed in the other two homes!

We are inviting individuals and people who want to work within their family/household bubbles on the site to come spend an hour working on this garden installation site. This is a great way to learn techniques and get ideas for your own yard! Only one ticket is required per family. Each ticket type is for a one-hour shift.

This public, hands-on installation workshop* will create a Resilient Neighborhood in Vallejo, providing an opportunity to learn about rainwater capture, water efficient drip irrigation and how to plant and mulch for a water wise garden that builds healthy soil and yields food.

* wear a mask, bring gloves and water

**Sustainable Solano Staff will be disinfecting tools at the end of each hour shift and will provide hand sanitizer
