Within our homes there are many avenues to be able able to re-use water in ways that are beneficial for our environment, our treatment facilities, and our wallet; don’t you want to be able to pay for something once and use it twice?!

Through simple design and creativity you can easily take advantage of greywater! Greywater is gently used water from your bathroom sinks, showers, tubs, and washing machines, and is a valuable resource that can help your garden flourish. During this webinar, Laura Allen will walk us through the greywater basics and the various systems that can be utilized and maintained for all to benefit from.

Laura Allen is a founding member of Greywater Action and has spent the past 20 years exploring low-tech sustainable water solutions. She authored The Water-Wise Home: How to Conserve and Reuse Water in Your Home and Landscape and Greywater, Green Landscape (Storey Press). Laura leads classes and workshops on rainwater harvesting, greywater reuse, and composting toilets, and works on policies and codes for water reuse systems in the west.
