Just in time for the holidays, “Going with the Grain” is the next healthy cooking workshop in the “What’s for Dinner”. This fun cooking class will focus on ancient grains, ones you may have never heard of, or tried cooking. Our ancient grain recipes can be a glamorous side to your holiday meal and can quickly morph into a delicious grain bowl for those vegetarian and vegan guests that might join your table.
Chef Lisa Núñez-Hancock will clue you in on how to cook unusual, healthy grains and build a delicious and nutritious grain bowl that will no doubt be a tasty conversation piece at your holiday dinner.
Join us for this exciting (last in the 2018 series) healthy cooking class and food discussion! Participants will get tasty samples, take away a recipe booklet, and there will be an extra special foodie surprise!
Classes are always free, open to the public and take place at JFK Library in downtown Vallejo.
