This is a great opportunity to see what types of plants thrive in the climate of Central Solano and learn ways to capture rainwater and install simple greywater systems to counterbalance our increasingly dry weather. \nTour our demonstration edible gardens fed by secondary water (roofwater and/or laundry-to-landscape greywater system) in Fairfield and Vacaville! Learn simple techniques that you can apply to your own yard to create a vibrant\, food-producing ecosystem using water wisely. Ask our food forest keepers questions\, enjoy the gardens\, be inspired and get ideas on how you can work these design principles into your own yard! \nLearn more and register here! \nHow it will work: \nFairfield and Vacaville Demonstration Food Forest Gardens will be open 9 am-1 pm on Saturday\, June 4 \nItinerary pickup and special events:  \n\n9-11 am: A detailed itinerary with garden locations will be distributed at the demonstration farm site in Vacaville.
