There is interest in incorporating a ‘Healthy Communities’ chapter this time around\, which would benefit from a strong local food system\, access to healthy food\, successful local farmers and more. It would also hold the county’s climate action plan. \nBut how would that happen? And how can the public participate in this process? Get answers to these questions and more at this public educational forum with local experts in planning\, zoning\, food systems and food access\, and share your priorities for emphasizing local food.
