DESCRIPTION:This beginner-friendly class will introduce attendees to the basics of composting; Composting 101! Come and learn how easy it is to transform your yard waste and food scraps into “gardeners’ gold”. The benefits of making and using compost are many: recycling resources\, saving money and water. This workshop will teach you to make\, harvest and use this valuable soil amendment in your garden. \nRegister here \nCity Church will have a newly built 3-bin system by the class date\, so attendees will have an opportunity for hands on harvesting and composting in their new bin(s). \nThis is the first class in a 3-series class offering on composting. The next two classes will be for intermediate composting information and advanced composting\, respectively. \nThe instructor\, Lori Caldwell\, is a seasoned teacher on all things compost\, gardening\, and sustainable living.
