DESCRIPTION:Composting for Households\n6-7:30 pm\, Heritage Presbyterian Church\, Benicia \nMichael Wedgley of Soilogical BioSolutions and Designs will be discussing three different methods of household composting\, including worm composting\, passive composting\, and the more complex thermophilic composting. This presentation will be an introduction to composting. Michael also will host a composting demonstration during the annual food forest tour on April 22. Register here! \nThis class is generously funded by Republic Services \nAbout Michael Wedgley: \nMichael Wedgley is a permaculture designer and a certified Soil Food Web Lab Technician. He specializes in edible and native landscapes\, as well as applied microbiology for the elimination of pesticides and fertilizers. As a Soil Food Web Lab Technician\, he assesses the microbiome of soils to help growers and gardeners understand the biological needs of their soil.
