Join us to hear what’s happening in the Farm to School landscape\, and how your school district can get involved. After touching on new laws and funding for Farm to School at the state and national levels\, we’ll showcase successful Farm to School models in the region (including Vacaville Unified School District). Next\, Sustainable Solano and its partners will introduce their new USDA-funded “Solano Farm to School Project” designed to help schools in Solano County procure more local food\, expand local markets for farmers\, and equip youth to champion healthy\, sustainable food at their schools.
