During this event we will be installing a water-efficient dripline irrigation system in the Swenson community orchard and having a community garden work day. Heath Griffith from Grow with the Flow will teach an introduction to this sustainable irritation method\, and then lead a hands-on installation. You can expect to learn the differences between dripline and other irrigation methods\, the advantages of drip irrigation\, and how to assemble the components on a landscape. We will be weeding\, spreading a small amount of wood chips\, and planting Spring vegetables. \nThis project is in partnership with Emmanuel Apostolic Church and Emmanuel Arms Inc. This church has served the community with weekly outreach and supply distributions for over 10 years.
