DESCRIPTION:Visit this demonstration and field trip farm site for Pleasant Valley Farm School\, which offers outdoor education experiences and Waldorf-inspired instruction. \nThe permaculture demonstration portion of the site is a joint project between Sustainable Solano and Pleasant Valley Farm School. The waterwise\, resilient garden uses rainwater capture\, water-efficient drip irrigation and carefully selected plants and mulch to build healthy soil and yield food. \nVolunteer to help with preparing this regenerative garden for winter and bring home tips for preparing your own winter garden while learning about permaculture practices you can use at home. \nRegister here \n* wear closed-toe shoes\, sun protection\, and bring gloves and water \nIf you have any questions please contact allison@sustainablesolano.org
