Bounty of the County Cooking Class: Knife Skills + Stir-Fry!
6-8 pm, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Benicia
Join Chef Stephanie Jordan, Sustainable Solano’s Local Food program manager, for fundamental skills in slicing, dicing and more while creating a local, seasonal stir-fry for dinner! This hands-on class covers different kinds of knives, their purposes, knife care and cutting techniques for a variety of products. All equipment will be provided, but if you have a favorite knife from home, feel free to bring it (we can sharpen it too)! $20 class fee covers instruction, equipment and ingredients. Classes are open to adults of all ages and teens ages 12-17 can attend with a guardian.
