Come see how beer is “grown”!

At this special Bounty of the County event, guests will take a tour through the fields, the cellar and the brewery while learning how Ruhstaller Farm transforms their own organic hops into unique, delicious craft beers. Small food tastings featuring produce from neighboring family farms will be paired with the beers along the way, with recipes and quick cooking demos by Sustainable Solano staff. Guests will have plenty of Q & A time with the brewmasters and also learn about Ruhstaller’s regenerative farming practices that bring the hops from the dirt to the deck and strive to leave the land better than they found it. Proceeds will support Sustainable Solano’s local food program, which includes free cooking classes and youth cooking programs.

$15 per person. Tastings are for 21 and over; must show ID upon arrival.

Special Notes: Supervised children are welcome to tag along (please bring their own snacks/drinks!) Wear comfortable walking shoes. The tour includes about 2 flights of stairs.

The 2022 Spring Bounty of the County will highlight Solano County wineries and breweries in May and then culminate in a celebratory Bounty of the County event at the Solano County Fair on June 18! Join us from noon-2 pm May 14 at Mangels Vineyards in Suisun Valley for a wine and food tasting event, and at 1 pm May 22 at Ruhstaller Farm in Dixon for a beer and food tasting event and tour!
