(Fairfield) Worm Composting for kids & families

February 4 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Tolenas Farms Academy is a nature-based preschool and community program, with a vision to educate children, families and communities on healthy living and holistic learning by educating on things including building healthy soil, agriculture, building housing to support animals and caring for animals, planting and harvesting fruits and veggies and benefits of recycling. Tolenas Farms Academy believes holistic education supports social and emotional development of self and people while preserving our planet and caring for others.

Tolenas Farms Academy is the location of Garden of Shalom, an educational demonstration food forest garden installed through SuSol’s Solano Sustainable Backyards program.

All are welcome to attend and help build a space that is supportive of that vision. Weekend projects are intended to be fun and engaging for the whole family but are tailored to children.
