(Rio Vista) Little Free Library and Pollinator Garden Celebration

Join Sustainable Solano at the Rio Vista Roots Community Garden to celebrate our new Little Free Library, built and painted by Rio Vista High School students and the Youth Air Protectors.

This Little Free Library is part of our work to improve air quality and walkability on a local level, and will contain educational resources about air quality, environmental action, and more.

At this community celebration, we will:

Learn about Local air quality issues and solutions
Exchange books and stock the new Little Free Library
Create painted “Kindness Rocks” to spread positivity around Rio Vista
Plant a native Pollinator Garden

Please bring:

A book or two to contribute to the Little Free Library and share with your neighbors!
Sunscreen, a sun hat, layers
A reusable water bottle

This event is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide initiative that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment — particularly in disadvantaged communities.
