Republic Services and Sustainable Solano will be joined by UC Master Gardener Tina Saravia to discuss stewarding backyard chickens. Chickens are a great ally for your garden and yard. There are many benefits and challenges to stewarding these feathery friends. We’ll share information on how you can best work with chickens in your yard to reduce food waste going into the landfill and will have information on how you can start or add to your own backyard chicken set up.
