Climate change and flooding bring with them new challenges for Suisun to tackle, but also provide an opportunity to rally together in service of a collective goal. Suisun City residents are invited to this in-person event at the Joseph Nelson Community Center to take part in the flood resiliency decisions in Suisun. The event will discuss the Community Resilience Building Workshop summary report, with speakers and a roundtable with city officials and community leaders on community-directed action. Lunch will be provided for registered participants.

Tentative schedule:

• 11:00-11:15- Introduction and check-in
• 11:15-11:25- Presentation on flooding projections
• 11:25-11:35- Presentation on potential actions for the city
• 11:35-11:45- Presentation on an ongoing project by the Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District
• 11:45-12:30- Lunch (provided by Sustainable Solano)
• 12:30-2:00- Roundtable with Mayor Pro Tem Alma Hernandez

Lunch will be provided for participants who register via Eventbrite. Due to capacity limitations, in-person attendance will also be limited to those who register.
