Bounty of the County Cooking Class: St. Patrick’s Day Dinner!
5-7 pm, McBride Senior Center, Vacaville

Chef Laura Doyle joins Sustainable Solano’s Local Food team to lead this hands-on cooking class featuring creative Irish dishes (and some old favorites) just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! Local seasonal produce takes center stage as we make a colcannon shepherds pie, Spring pea salad, Irish soda bread and a seasonal fruit crumble for dessert. Knife skills, cooking techniques and more will be covered in the class, after which participants will sit down and enjoy dinner together. $20 class fee covers instruction, equipment and ingredients.
