Visit this demonstration and field trip farm site for Pleasant Valley Farm School, which offers outdoor education experiences and Waldorf-inspired instruction.

The permaculture demonstration portion of the site is a joint project between Sustainable Solano and Pleasant Valley Farm School. The waterwise, resilient garden uses rainwater capture, water-efficient drip irrigation and carefully selected plants and mulch to build healthy soil and yield food.

Volunteer to help with preparing this regenerative garden for winter and bring home tips for preparing your own winter garden while learning about permaculture practices you can use at home.
