About the Griffin Garden

The Griffin Garden has six fruit trees, five garden beds for annuals, and at least a dozen different additional plants, providing shade, wind cover, etc. Additional features include an in-ground swale running parallel to the school building. This swale will capture rainwater and store it in the soil for the plants to draw from. Griffin Academy is also certified by the Public Health Department to use their garden’s produce in their cafeteria. The garden club continues to use and maintain the garden after school.
