About the Kairos Public Schools Garden

This garden has a variety of interesting features. There are a number of climbing vines and fruit trees on the perimeter of the garden, an herb spiral, and seven garden beds (four of which are ADA height). This garden space will be used as a living laboratory for students to learn about plant and animal science, and it has been certified by the Solano County Environmental Health Department to provide foods for culinary education.

Plants and trees include Fig, Peach, Fuyu Persimmon, Lemon, Pineapple Guava, and Ceonothus, Artichoke, Rosemary, Sage, Yarrow, Passion fruit vine, Grape vine, Raspberry, Thornless Blackberry, Calendula, Basil, Miniclover, Thyme, Chives, Chamomile, Mint, Cilantro, Feverfew, Nasturtium, Parsley and Borage.
